Ali Faraz Siddiqui - CEO

Mr. Ali Faraz Siddiqui is the Chief Executive Officer of the Aman Institute for Vocational Training.

Mr. Siddiqui brings over 15 years of local and international experience in the private sector, including experience in leading key operational projects in the petroleum industry with Raceway Petroleum USA, and in the telecom industry with Mobilink – a Vimplecom company in Pakistan.

He joined the Aman family in 2015 and had served as Head of Operations for the vocational training facility, AMANTECH. Under his leadership, the institute has successfully concluded international donor-funded projects such as the $7 million USAID KYWDP Project, and the first round of the Training Fund for Sindh and Balochistan funded by the TVET Sector Support Program.

In the past years, Mr. Siddiqui’s leadership has played an instrumental role in positioning AMANTECH as an organization that is capable of producing strategies for long-term growth in the vocational training sector. Apart from overseeing overall operations, he was also spearheading consultancy projects that ensure the sustainability of the institute; AMANTECH has entered into a partnership with the Fauji Foundation to provide consultancy services in designing and operationalizing a state-of-the-art TVET facility in Sialkot. Other consultancy projects that have been secured under Ali’s expert management include a consultancy project from BBSUTSD Khaipur Mirs for revamping their institute in Khairpur, as well as a public-private partnership with the Government of Punjab to take over three institutes in the province and uplift their operational standards to be at par with AMANTECH

Mr. Siddiqui has completed his  Masters in Business Administration from DeVry University, USA. He is also currently a member of NAVTTC’s Executive Council of National Skills Forum.

Shazina Masud

Shazina Masud is the Chief Executive Officer of the Aman Health Care Services. She brings over 20 years of experience in private sector marketing and sales, including experience in social marketing and social franchising of reproductive health products and services. Ms. Masud has been working in the development sector for the last ten years and has experience of leading on country projects in Africa and Asia. Since March 2018, Shazina has joined as an Executive Director with Aman Health.

Previously, as Country Director for PSI /Nepal, Ms Masud has been responsible for stream lining PSI’s social marketing of family planning products and introducing innovative and market oriented initiatives to create a brand identity for the network of 400 private sector providers. She was also instrumental in partnering with the government to strengthen their capacity in providing long term family planning as well as medical abortion. Ms. Masud also spear headed PSI/Nepal’s emergency response to the earthquake in Nepal, by scaling up current programming as well as introducing immediate measures provision of water chlorination solution as well as partnering the government, as needed.

Ms. Masud has a Masters in Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Karachi, Pakistan and is in the process of completing a MS in Creativity in Change and Leadership from Buffalo College, New York.

Syed Zaid Bin Rashid

Zaid brings insights from multiple sectors – financial services, industrial chemicals, IT services, agriculture, retail, automobile, corporate sustainability, nonprofits – and across diverse roles in strategy, sales, business development, operations, product development and project management. He has worked with a wide range of stakeholders and partners, such as: downstream dealers of industrial chemicals; multinational and local corporate customers; international aid agencies and development organizations, and; public sector bodies.

He is a recipient of the Australia Awards Short Course Award on “Supporting the Strengthening of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) – Policy and Management” by Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. He is an Acumen Regional Fellow in Pakistan and holds an undergraduate degree from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Zaid also serves on the Board of Directors of the Aman Health Care Services, a nonprofit that operates Pakistan’s premier lifesaving ambulance network.

Shamsuddin A. Shaikh

Mr. Shaikh is a Mechanical Engineer by profession. He has an extensive career of more than 30 years in manufacturing, sales, commercial, supply chain & Large Scale Mining at different levels and subsidiaries of Engro. He single- mindedly and with great humility turned Pakistan’s Thar Coal into a reality which was constantly being missed by all other campaigners for decades.

In addition to being the CEO of NRL, Mr. Shaikh is currently also the board member of Amantech, which is a not- for-profit state-of-the-art vocational training institute designed to transform the youth of Pakistan into productive members of society by teaching them both vocational and soft skills and aligning them to the needs of the local and international labor market. Mr. Shaikh also had a key role in establishment and success of Thar Foundation which laid the basis of social development in Thar.
